WHY DAIRY-FREE SMOOTHIES? When we went looking for the perfect smoothie to sip, we came up short. Most of the smoothie products for babies and toddlers on the market have mostly sugary fruits with little to no protein. So, we set out to redefine the traditional smoothie. We aim for the perfect balance of sweet and savory to keep the sugar low, but the taste delicious! GRASS FED COLLAGEN: Our Type I/III mix collagen is supplied to us from a community of farmers that practice regenerative agriculture in Brazil and Argentina. The cattle are grass-fed, pasture-raised, and non-GMO with no added hormones or antibiotics. Hydrolyzed collagen is sourced from the connective tissue, bones, cartilage, and hides of cows and broken down into smaller units of protein (collagen peptides) through a process called hydrolysis which can make them easier to digest and absorb.
